The Castle

This project consisted of our team painting the exterior of this 2-story brick home. Fresh from winter, our focus for the exterior was to refine the surface by starting with power washing to ensure a clean canvas. For the main body of the home, we went with Duck White by Sherwin Williams and painted the doors, gutters, trims, and windows Tricon Black. The client wanted to modernize the home and bring it back to life and in 6 weeks that is exactly what was accomplished.

At PCI Painting, we value protection and cleanliness. We know that the prep work that goes in before the exterior painting is just as important as the exterior painting itself. Our team of experts carefully prep the space to be painted, ensuring that valuables were safely covered and out of the way during the project. The result was not only a beautiful canvas but a clean property with no signs of neglect in protection.

Project Timeline

Week 1: The team removed all the stone emblems and lion heads throughout the property. In total, there are over 30 plus emblems and lion heads off.

Week 2: We Power washed the property and removed all the overgrown vegetation that was on the sidings.

Week 3: We placed the protection in the surrounding environment and started caulking, repairing the spots that needed to be fixed before we painted. For example, we were patching holes that carpentry bees have done on the wooden trims.

Week 4: We took down the gutter. Primed and painted all the windows ( 36 qty), doors ( 13 qty), fasces, etc.

Week 5: Primed the main house and garage.

Week 6: Painted the main house, garage, and gutters. Reinstalled the gutters.
